We are BLUE LIVES MATTER - FLORIDA, a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, created to help Law Enforcement Officers and their families during their time of need. We are also working to help lower the rate of suicide within Law Enforcement by providing education on the awareness and prevention of suicide to Law Enforcement agencies.
This event is dedicated to the memory of CPL Andy Lavender of the Jacksonville Beach Police Dept. "He was a larger than life, cops cop who made a difference every day. He continues to be missed"
On August 3rd, 2019, Jacksonville Beach Police Dept. Corporal Andy Lavender unexpectedly passed away.

Entry Information & Fees
5K: EARLY Entry Fee $35 until
midnight Aug 16, 2023. The LATE entry fee is $40 until
Aug 25, 2023 at 6pm when online registration closes.
Race day entry fee will be $50
VIRTUAL 5K: Early Entry Fee $35 until midnight Aug 16,2023, The LATE entry fee is $40 until Aug 25, 2023 at 6pm. Virtual runners have the option to purchase shipping of shirt and medal for an additional $10
1Mile Fun Run $30 until midnight Aug 16, 2023, then $35 until Aug 25, 2023 at 6 pm. The 1 Mile includes a shirt but does not include a medal. Race day entry fee will be $40
During registration, you can join or create your own team to show your support en masse!
PACKET PICK UP WILL BE RACE DAY ONLY. Please arrive early to avoid long lines.

COURSE:
Run south on the beach from the Seawalk Pavilion to the turn around, head back North to the finish line at the Seawalk Pavilion.
AMENITIES: Custom SUBLIMATED TECH SHIRTS to first 175 5K EARLY entrants. Early Entry expires on midnight Aug 16, 2023. Once again, we will offer YL to XXXL for men and Ladies V neck from S to XXL
Late and race day entrants are not guaranteed a shirt. Custom Medals will be awarded to the first 150 finishers.
AWARDS will be presented to the Overall Male and Female and first place in 24 and under, 25 - 35, 36- 49, 50 and over.
DONATIONS can be made on this registration site regardless of whether you run or not
TIMING: The race will be timed and scored by Jaguar Timing Systems electronic bib tag. Your entry fee covers the cost of the disposable chip which does not need to be returned. Bib MUST be worn on the front chest to be scored electronically. Please do not fold the microprocessor.
